England Starting Eleven

Quite a few countries who are due to take part in the FIFA World Cup 2018 have announced their initial 23-man squad and now the date for the first 11 to play in their first match has passed. England haven’t yet announced their first 11 to play against Tunisia but a lot of speculation has gone around.

Here are all the 23 players heading to Russia:

  • Butland, Pickford, Alexander-Arnold, Cahill, Jones, Maguire, Rose, Stones, Trippier, Walker, Young, Alli, Delph, Dier, Henderson, Lingard, Loftus-Cheek, Sterling, Kane, Rashford, Vardy, Welbeck

Out of all these players, just 11 will be able to player in the first match. Manager, Gareth Southgate, has a lot cut out for him but we trust him to make the right decision to include in his squad.

Here is our speculation as to who will be in the Tunisia match:

  • Pickford
  • Walker
  • Trippier
  • Young
  • Dier
  • Henderson
  • Pickford
  • Maguire
  • Stones
  • Cahill
  • Kane

This is what England has to offer and the list could not be more inspiring. Southgate has clearly chosen England’s best to help progress further into the tournament. Let’s hope he knows what he’s doing. After all, we want England to do well.
