Iceland Starting Eleven

There are two teams who will be playing in their first ever World Cups in Russia. Iceland and Panama are these teams and today we will take a look at Iceland’s squad and predict their starting eleven.

After a memorable performance at the European Championships two years ago in France, Iceland qualified for the World Cup automatically, winning seven of their ten matches in the process.

Can Iceland continue their good form into the World Cup? They have been drawn in the so-called ‘group of death’, where they will face Croatia, Argentina and Nigeria. This is a tough group, but Iceland definitely have a chance of progressing to the knockout stages from Group D.
