Serbia Squad
Serbia squad is doing better than most people expected, winning more matches than usual and even topping their qualification group.
What are the team’s expectations now that they have entered the World Cup? They aren’t big, to be fair, but the newly appointed coach has already selected the players to form the national squad and is looking forward to the action.
Serbia Squad 2018 World Cup
Let’s take a look at this squad and see if they can improve their game this July. While we can’t say that they have done a bad job, Serbian officials think that they could do better and so some changes have been made to the squad in comparison to the qualification line-up.
- Goalkeepers: Danijel Subasic, Lovre Kalinic, Dominik Livakovic.
- Defenders: Vedran Corluka, Domagoj Vida, Ivan Strinic, Dejan Lovren, Sime Vrsaljko, Josip Pivaric, Tin Jedvaj, Duje Caleta-Car.
- Midfielders: Luka Modric, Ivan Rakitic, Mateo Kovacic, Milan Badelj, Marcelo Brozovic, Filip Bradaric.
- Forwards: Mario Mandzukic, Ivan Perisic, Nikola Kalinic, Andrej Kramaric, Marko Pjaca, Ante Rebic.
We can’t tell whether the recent changes will pay off, but the hopes shouldn’t be high as their opponents in the tournament won’t be easy to defeat.
Serbia squad has changed a bit right before the tournament, so it’s difficult to predict whether Serbia can keep up their performance.
