Sweden Starting Eleven
Sweden head to Russia for their first World Cup outing in twelve years. Last time round in the 2006 World Cup, Sweden lost in the second round to the current holders, Germany. Sweden will face Germany again in Group F of this summer’s tournament, along with South Korea and Mexico.
Sweden certainly have a chance of progressing from this group. Whilst Germany and Mexico are favourites, Sweden showed in their play-off victory against Italy that they shouldn’t be taken lightly. In this mini guide we will take a look at Sweden’s 23-man squad and predict who will start for Sweden at the World Cup.
