Germany Starting Eleven
Germany’s team coach, Joachim Low has confirmed the names of the 23 players who will be part of the official German squad in the World Cup 2018. But still, what we are more interested in is the list of names who will be part of the starting 11 lineup.
One thing for sure, Joachim Low has many spectacular players at his disposal. More than enough, in fact. Low is known for switching his strategies up from time to time, so we think that he will be picking players based on the strategy at hand. Regardless, these are the names of players whom we think will be part of starting 11 lineup of Germany.
- Marc-Andre ter Stegen (Barcelona)
- Jerome Boateng (Bayern Munich)
- Mats Hummels (Bayern Munich)
- Joshua Kimmich (Bayern Munich)
- Jonas Hector (Cologne)
- Sami Khedira (Juventus)
- Toni Kroos (Real Madrid)
- Mesut Ozil (Arsenal)
- Thomas Muller (Bayern Munich)
- Marco Reus (Borussia Dortmund)
- Timo Werner (RB Leipzig)
World Cup 2018: Strategy at Camp Nou
Joachim Low is a football strategy mastermind to say the least. He is probably the only coach to have changed tides of games by employing different tactics and patterns in games by switching up players.
Depending on which formation he runs, (4-4-2, 4-3-3, 4-4-3-3, 3-5-2, 4-2-3-1) we are expecting to see different players on the field.
