Argentina Squad

Argentina will be travelling to Russia hoping they can go one better than their last outing in the 2014 World Cup. In Brazil, they finished as runners-up, losing to Germany in the final.

Argentina have perhaps the most formidable attacking talent in the whole tournament. With the likes of Sergio Aguero, Gonzalo Higuain, Paolo Dybala, Lionel Messi and Angel di Maria in the Argentina squad, they can beat anyone.

Argentina were drawn in the ‘group of death’, which is Group D this time round. Still, Argentina are firm favourites in a group with Nigeria, Croatia and Iceland.

Here is the full 23-man squad for the two-time World Cup winners. One thing to note is that it has just been confirmed that Manuel Lanzini will miss the tournament through injury, so he will be replaced.
