Mexico Squad

Mexico squad consists of 23 players with more or less experience in their national football team. All of them have already played quite a few matches and earned their place in the 2018 World Cup line-up.

Even the team’s second youngest prodigy Hirving Lozano has already proven to be a worthwhile player, although this is going to be his first World Cup.

Aside from him, Mexico has many other players that can turn the tide as the team got into the tournament by winning most of their matches and easily overtaking all the competition in their confederation.

• Defenders: Carlos Salcedo, Diego Reyes, Hector Moreno, Hugo Ayala, Edson Alvarez, Jesus Gallardo, Miguel Layun.
• Midfielders: Rafael Marquez, Hector Herrera, Jonathan Dos Santos, Giovani Dos Santos, Andres Guardado, Marco Fabian.
• Forwards: Javier Hernandez, Raul Jimenez, Oribe Peralta, Jesus Manuel Corona, Carlos Vela, Javier Aquino, Hirving Lozano.

While it’s not the best squad in the tournament, we can’t say it is hopeless for them to finally reach the quarter-finals after a long stretch of eliminations in the round of 16.
