You know something’s really important if somebody makes an entire conference out of it. That is exactly the state of things with Virtual Reality these days (VR) as Prague held host to the world’s first VR/AR Gambling Conference earlier this month.
Gambling experts from all over the world journeyed to this one event to discuss all of the latest developments that have been going on to do with VR, specifically in the case of mobile gambling. It was the perfect place for experts to share knowledge and gain new insight into where the industry is going. How will it affect us here at Fortune Frenzy? The answer may surprise you.
An International Event
While this VR/AR Gambling Conference took place in Prague, representatives from all over the world congregated on this one event to give their insight into the way VR is shaping the gambling industry. Experts from Russia, Israel, the US, Spain, Austria, Germany and (of course) the Czech Republic made their way there and each country had their own unique perspectives to offer to the discussion.
And there was a fair amount of discussion going on. A broad range of topics were covered relating to the challenges that the VR (and AR) market will bring to the online gambling industry as well as solutions to not only overcome said challenges but how to use it to their advantage. Basically, it was so lots of people could come together and find out new ways of milking the VR money cow.
We imagine a lot of innovative and creative ideas were discussed, from new gaming ventures to new technological developments that will propel the industry even further that it has already gone in the last two years. Online gambling is already pretty intertwined with VR (as is the case with most major technological leaps forward) but it is set to get even more so thanks to all the right people attending this one conference, sharing the same ideas.
Networking and Innovation
The best way to be creative is through collaboration and cooperation with similar-minded people. Ideas, after all, can’t always just be plucked from thin air. Some may call it stealing but when an entire industry is willing to work together to help progress it smoothly into a future with VR, that’s something that’s got to be admired.
And where else better than to test these new ideas? Visitors to the centre in Prague had the chance to try out some new tech while giving the companies who developed them some much needed feedback. Consumer feedback is, after all, invaluable, as it gives insight into what the market wants and needs in order to flourish. And if a product is faulty — hey, there’s a chance to make it much, much better! This is why conventions like E3 exist, too.
While details on the conference are a little fuzzy, we can safely assume that it went well and that it was a positive and insightful experience for all of those involved. That goes for the developers in addition to the visitors/consumers who were there to beta-test the new products. It wasn’t only to test products, however. It established a better place of communication between all the top experts in the industry and their main their main target audience. We expect many good things to come out of it so all players can enjoy what they have to offer.
