This year’s edition of Celebrity Big Brother is proving to be the best yet.
Channel 5 executives are probably giving themselves a collective slap on the back as viewers have been treated, if you can call it that, to the most vile, obnoxious and self-obsessed house-mates ever to reside inside Bethnal Green’s house of horrors as well as gracing our small screens – and we bloody love it!
House-hold names such as Keith Chegwin, Patsy Kensit, er…Calum Best, struggling now…Perez Hilton, someone called Katie Hopkins and something called Cami-li plus others we’ve already forgotten about have provided bucket-loads of entertainment thus far.
Currently it’s fair to say Gossip Blogger Perez Hilton and Katie Hopkins won’t be on each other Christmas Card lists unless the cards were made from arsenic and Kavana (we don’t know who he is either) and Patsy Kensit don’t really have much to say – about anything, but we reckon that’s down to a distinct lack of oxygen in the house thanks to Katie Hopkins and Perez Hiltons continually sucking it all up gassing, but more on that later.
Snooze-mates
Surprisingly, as the series moves ever closer to voting for a winner, the biggest most expensive flop to enter the house, according to most viewers, has been Katie Price.
The former glamour model was supposedly set to tear into fellow house-mates Alicia Douvall (now evicted) and Katie Hopkins (sadly not yet evicted) after comments they made about each other in the press earlier on in the year, but that promise never materialised.
In fact, Katie Price and fellow barrel-of-laughs house-mate Kavana must be suffering from ‘splinters of the arse’ as they can’t seem to get off the fence about anything.
The Devil wears Onesie
Onesie wearing Katie Hopkins is also proving that a little knowledge about something can prove to be quite dangerous, as well as having an opinion about and on EVERYTHING – Hopkins seems to have nailed this endearing quality bang-on as she constantly spews projectile non-sense across the house and fellow housemates.
Thankfully, most choose to ignore her outbursts but worryingly there is a section in the house and even more worryingly in the public domain that have vocally warmed to her ways. Nevertheless, Keith Chegwin has tried to lighten the mood and bring us all back to ‘reality’ with some classic joke telling. Our favourite was Cheggers telling house-mates that “I went to a camouflage shop once, saw 10 people go in, and no one come out” oh Keith, you’re a legend.
And yet we haven’t got to the real juicy bits, and we’re not talking about some of the house-mates cosmetic enhancements either!
Love to Hate
Perez Hilton and Katie Hopkins, like it or not, have made this series standout. The pair of them have not stopped arguing since they both set foot in the house with the main reason being that they are just too alike. They both make a living from ridiculing and offending people and as it stands, they’re doing a good job on each other too at the moment.
To date, Perez has left the main area of the house after a fake ‘walkout’ much to the delight of Katie Hopkins and her cronies. However, the proverbial shit will hit the fan once he steps back into the ‘mean-girls’ den. It’s going to be a the definitive ‘Z-list’ celebrity face-off especially when it will be revealed that Perez had the final say in Cami-li being put-up for eviction.
We are absolutely loving this series of Celebrity Big Brother and can’t wait for eviction night!
