Nicknamed ‘Money’, Floyd is certainly no stranger to placing the odd bet or two. In fact, he often boasts of his huge wins on social media- often accompanied by a receipt showing the winning amount.
Previous winning bets have included staggering amounts such as $6.5 million (profit) on a Miami Heat basketball game. His own bet on that game was a cool $5.9 Million!
Next Opponent
British bookies need not worry just yet, as Mayweather has ruled himself out of facing Bolton’s Amir Khan. A Wembley Stadium mega fight had been rumoured, but Floyd has suggested he will either face Andre Berto or Karim Mayfield in his next fight.
$500 Million Fight
Although it is doubtful he will face either of those opponents, what is certain is that his next contest will struggle to match the $500 Million generated by his previous fight with Manny Pacquiao.
