First Footage Of NetEnt’s Blood Suckers II Due Released 12th October

blood suckers iiNetEnt are giving us a Halloween treat this month with the release of their video slot Blood Suckers II. This vampire-fest is a sequel to their already existing (not to mention scary!) slot Blood Suckers and is due for release on 12th October. This is going to take the iGambling world on a wild and sensational ride, as NetEnt has sufficiently hyped us up in anticipation of the release by uploading the first footage of the Blood Suckers II game.

The video shows off some of the slot’s primary features and looks to be a spook-tacular affair. What can one expect to find with this slot, exactly? We have all you need to know right here, so read on!

Blood Suckers II — The Video

In case you haven’t seen it, here is the video in question to watch at your leisure. We highly recommend it as it’s quite an exciting thing to watch.

As you can see from the footage, Blood Suckers II is packed full of features. The game operates on a 5×3 reel, which is the norm, but also implements a lot of bonus and wild symbols that appear simple enough to acquire. The symbols themselves represent archaic symbols that are meant to reflect the Gothic origins of vampire folklore (or, more accurately, to portray how they are represented in media). You play a vampire hunter as she embarks on a quest to kill off the nasty neck-biters.

Turns out, however, that she could be a vampire herself… Some of the scatters are represented by a different ‘type’ of vampire. You can clearly see the Nosferatu influence, as well as the ‘romantic’ Anne Rice vampire archetype, not to mention your typical sexy seductress vampire lady, who has bat-wings coming out of her back. There’s even a reference to the popular ‘Castlevania’ games.

It is, without a doubt, a well-designed game with excellent sound design and clever references that the most avid vampire fan would catch. Blood Suckers II proves to be the perfect Halloween slot to play as it has a coffin bonus game in which players can choose a coffin and get some extra winnings. Of course, we’ve come to expect this kind of thing from NetEnt anyway but they always surprise us in making things feel fresh and new.

Differences From Blood Suckers

blood suckers netentFor those who have already played Blood Suckers, Blood Suckers II might feel like a severe case of déjà vu. Just like Wolf Cub, another slot made by NetEnt that was released earlier this month, the Blood Suckers II mobile slot has been available at Betsson-owned mobile casinos for quite some time.

It’s definitely one of the most anticipated video slot follow-ups of all time and that is no exaggeration. In a way, we feel sorry for Blood Suckers II as it has a lot to live up to. With a slightly smaller RTP of 96.94% than the original slot (98%), it would seem that it is a bit of a downgrade. However, there are still plenty of features to sink your teeth into, pun fully intended.

There is stuff that’s the same (5×3 reel, 25 fixed bet lines), but it’s introduction of the Blood Rose Extra Spins, a Hidden Treasure Bonus Game, Scatter Shots and Bonus Shots make for a new and interesting experience. The ability to win over 300,000 coins on a single bet line, too, is a much-needed improvement over the original game. We honestly cannot wait to try this out. It might explain the lower RTP this time around but we’re sure it won’t impact the experience too much.

Where To Play Blood Suckers II?

fortune frenzy new slotsYou can play Blood Suckers II on any NetEnt casino from 12th October onward. In fact, you can play it right here at Fortune Frenzy casino, where we adopt many of the latest games from NetEnt, plus other top software developers like NextGen and Microgaming. We’re sure that October is going to see a flurry of new slots, all of them Halloween-themed in some way, and we are pretty sure this one is going to be tough to beat.

On the other hand, we’re also sure that plenty of casinos (including ourselves) will throw out there some extra spins or some other kid of promotion that will make your time playing this game much more enjoyable.
